Intern in Human Resources Development
After completing her Master’s degree in Psychology, Christine Baldsiefen completed a four-month internship in Human Resources Development at WEIG as an entry into her professional career.
Why did you choose to do an internship in Human Resources Development at WEIG?
After completing a rather theory-focused degree program, I was eager to gain practical insights into everyday business life. Human Resources Development had long been an area of interest for me. The internship position offered by WEIG in this field seemed like a perfect fit. Furthermore, the style of collaboration described in the job posting and later in the interview matched my expectations and strongly appealed to me.
What do you enjoy the most?
The fact that I have the opportunity to work creatively and actively contribute is actually expected of me. When we work on topics together, my input is taken into account and incorporated into the final result. I also enjoy working independently on tasks and the associated opportunity to take on responsibility. I have a lot of freedom and am allowed to drive my projects forward on my own initiative. If I have any questions, people take time for me and I receive support. I also really appreciate the respectful way in which my colleagues treat each other.
