Training as an industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), you manufacture, set up, or convert equipment and production facilities. You monitor and optimize manufacturing processes and perform repair and maintenance tasks. To do this, you manufacture metal or plastic components and assemble them. You also assemble prefabricated parts to create machine tools and other special-purpose machines.

The training period is 3.5 years. You will work in our workshop, where you will inspect, maintain, and service workpieces and mechanical components of the systems and machines. You will also be involved in production, checking larger parts or even entire systems or machines and carrying out maintenance and repair work. Optimizing manufacturing processes will also be part of your responsibilities. Vocational school classes are held at the Berufsbildende Schule Südliche Weinstraße vocational school in Edenkoben.
