People at WEIG

Hannah Dahm-ehemalige Auszubildende Industriekauffrau

Hannah Dahm

Former industrial management trainee

Hannah Dahm joined WEIG in 2018. She had already heard about the company as a good employer while she was still at school in Mayen. So it was an easy decision to apply for an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk with us. During her interview with Ms. Arndt, she had a good feeling about the company and decided to pursue an apprenticeship with the WEIG Group. She successfully completed her training in 2021, and we are delighted that she will continue to be part of the team.

What did you like best about your training?

What I liked most was the variety of tasks and the fact that every day brought something new. Right from the start of my training, I was given responsible tasks, which meant that I was immediately involved in the company’s processes. As part of their training, trainees at WEIG pass through all relevant commercial departments. This gave me an overall picture of the company over time and allowed me to understand the “big picture,” so to speak. It was also great to be able to apply what I learned at vocational school in practice.

Why do you enjoy working at WEIG?

I enjoyed a great commercial apprenticeship at WEIG. My colleagues in the various departments also played a special role in this. Thanks to their openness and willingness to help, I was warmly welcomed in every department. The collegiality among the employees contributes to my feeling of well-being and makes me look forward to going to work every morning.
